From a lineage of winemakers spanning nine generations, Charles and Philippe Bouzereau's estate is nestled at the foot of the historic Château de Citeaux in the heart of Meursault. Under Philippe's management since 2006, the estate has committed to organic practices in their vineyards, emphasizing quality and sustainability.

Having followed Philippe's wines for some time, I've noticed a remarkable evolution towards greater refinement. Where they once had a heavy oak influence, they now exhibit a harmonious balance, with bright acidity and precise tension between the oak and other elements.

This 2022 Chardonnay does not disappoint, with a depth, complexity, and finish that truly showcases terroir and technique

The 2020 Bourgogne Blanc showcases a youthful bouquet of roasted almonds and hazelnuts, complemented by delicate floral notes. The wine is aged in oak barrels, adding a subtle complexity to its profile. It offers a depth of aroma that is both perfumed and mineral. On the palate, it is mouth-filling and incisive, with a persistent and long finish. Pair it with cod, chicken, duck, mushroom, or a nutty or creamy cheese for a simply incredible meal.
