At Dzimbahwe, passion is the heart of winemaking, and every bottle tells a story of dedication, tradition, and the unique terroir of Austria’s Weinviertel region. Dzimbahwe is the personal winery of Raravina sommelier Pardon Taguzu, and we are thrilled to offer his incredible wines across Europe and share his story with our community.

Pardon pours his heart into every vine and bottle. Nestled in the picturesque Weinviertel region, his vineyards bask in an ideal winemaking climate. The Dzimbahwe vineyards benefit from a perfect winemaking climate, producing fresh, spicy wines. His Rosé Classic 2021 stands out with its bright pink hue and enticing aromas of wild berries and cherries. This vintage, shaped by a warm and dry season, delivers a balanced, well-structured wine with remarkable intensity.

The meticulous crafting of this rosé began with fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve its vibrant character. The wine then spent four months on fine lees, adding complexity and depth, followed by 18 months in French oak barrels, which imparted subtle nuances and a refined finish.

The result is a fresh, fruity rosé, perfect for the sun-drenched days of spring and summer. From quiet nights at home to long days on the beach, this rosé is the ideal companion.

Tasting & Pairing

Tasting notes:

Look for bright pink scents of will berries and cherries on the nose, with a stimulating acidity and fresh, fruity palate. This wine works both as an aperitif on its own, as well as a great pairing alongside salads, grilled chicken, and fish dishes.
