Dzimbahwe is the personal winery of Raravina somm Pardon Taguzu. We could not be happier to be able to be able to offer his incredible wines across Europe and share his story with our community.

Pardon’s vineyards in the Weinviertel region of Austria take advantage of a wonderful winemaking climate to produce fresh, spicy wines. This Grüner Veltliner, grown on the southern slopes of the Riede Hochstrasse, benefits from deep loess soils, which create a fruity and lively wine that’s perfect on its own but only improves alongside food.

The labels of Dzimbahwe wines depict the community that once shared space behind walls of Masvingo in Pardon’s home country of Zimbabwe. They reflect Pardon’s focus on tradition and wine’s ability to bring people together.

Tasting notes:

Nicely integrated acidity with hints of gooseberries & green apples underlie a fresh, peppery & spicy wine. Mineral-driven with invigorating acidity in the finish. Pair with schnitzel, endive or potato salad, sushi, or a good thai curry.
