Spring Sips, Sweets and Stories Tasting

After the warm reception of our last event, Storybaker Fabio Bortolazzi invites us to countdown his birthday with him. Spring Sips, Sweets and Stories is exactly the afternoon you would expect from a lover of flavours and tales.

Fabio has crafted five new imaginative desserts taking inspiration from spring. It's all about fruits, flowers, chocolate and honey, weaving fresh flavors into rich Italian tradition. More than sweet treats, these are edible narratives—a sensory homage to the Bel Paese. Fabio’s passion for storytelling and gastronomy takes centre stage.

The Pairings:

🍷Chocolate cake with black milk tea & rose ganache

  🍷Carrot & pineapple cake with honey, saffron & orange blossom frosting

  🍷Chamomile, lemon & turmeric posset with chamomile-poached pineapple

  🍷Ginger, lemon & lavender mousse on a shortcrust flower

  🍷Pavlova morsel with hibiscus cream & cherry compote

Each dessert has been paired with a thoughtfully selected wine that elevates and complements its flavours.
