For the Love of Wine - A Decadent Journey Through Wine and Dessert

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon that celebrates the art of indulgence. For the Love of Wine pairs five exquisite wines with a selection of imaginative desserts crafted by Fabio Bortolazzi, the “storybaker” who weaves flavours into tales of Italy’s rich culinary heritage.

Fabio’s desserts are more than sweet treats—they’re edible narratives inspired by the Bel Paese, blending textures, aromas, and flavours that pay homage to his roots. From his days as a pizza baker at 17 to creating desserts in Amsterdam that connect him to his Venetian mamma and the vineyards of Prosecco, Fabio’s passion for storytelling and gastronomy takes centre stage.

The Pairings:
🍷 Fudgy: The ultimate fudge brownie.
🍷 Crispy: A dark chocolate kletskop and bonbon with porcini mushroom ganache.
🍷 Airy: Milk chocolate mousse with fluffy lemon mascarpone meringue & a ruby chocolate bonbon.
🍷 Smooth: Namelaka ganache with floral and citrus notes and ricotta richness.
🍷 Gelatinous: Ginger milk pudding with lavender honey & a white chocolate bonbon infused with dirty rose chai ganache.

Each dessert has been paired with a thoughtfully selected wine that elevates and complements its flavours.
