A complete Christmas table in three bottles.

Our Christmas Table Trio has been curated to carry you from the opening nibbles to the heart of the festive meal. These are the wines we reach for when hosting in winter: versatile, elegant and food friendly, with enough depth to stand up to richer plates and enough freshness to brighten the table.

Each bottle brings something different to the day. A crisp white for grazing boards and starters. A savoury, lighter bodied red for turkey, chicken and vegetable led dishes. And a fuller, fruit driven red for the deeper flavours of Christmas and everything that follows on Boxing Day.

Whether you are hosting a crowd or sharing a quiet festive meal, this trio gives you a balanced, beautifully curated line up for the season.

What’s Inside

Château Ksara Blanc de Blancs 2023

A fresh and textured Lebanese white with notes of peach, citrus and green apple. Crisp, clean and beautifully balanced, with a gentle mineral lift. Perfect for starters, smoked fish, soft cheeses and festive grazing.

Douloufakis Dafnios Liatiko 2021

A lighter, savoury red from Crete with soft red fruit, subtle spice and a gentle earthy character. Exceptionally flexible with food. Ideal for turkey, chicken, mushroom dishes and vegetable led mains.

Davino VAST Rosu 2020

A fuller, fruit led Romanian red with ripe dark berries, warm spice and soft tannins. A comforting winter bottle for roasts, deeper flavours and cosy evenings by the fire.

Suggested Food Pairings

• Christmas starters and grazing boards

• Smoked salmon, soft cheeses and festive canapés

• Turkey, roast chicken and herb led mains

• Mushroom dishes and vegetarian centrepieces

• Roast beef, pork, lamb or hearty winter plates

• Leftovers and Boxing Day comfort cooking

How to Serve

Serve at the right temperature

  • For the white wine (usually the first pour): chill to around 8–10 °C — ideally in the fridge for 2–3 hours before serving.

  • For the red wines: bring them to just below room temperature (approx. 16–18 °C). If your room is quite warm, let them sit 15–20 minutes out of the fridge before serving.

Select appropriate glasses

  • Use a standard white-wine glass for the crisp white — it keeps aromas fresh and preserves acidity.

  • For the lighter red, choose a medium-bodied red glass to allow subtle savoury and spice notes to show.

  • For the fuller red, a broader red-wine glass helps highlight fruit intensity and structure.

Serve in thoughtful order

Begin with the white for starters or grazing boards → move to the lighter red for poultry, vegetables or lighter mains → finish with the fuller red for heartier meats, rich dishes or Boxing Day leftovers.

Give wines a moment

Let the whites open for 5–10 minutes after pouring to allow fresh fruit and citrus notes to deepen.

Let reds breathe for around 20 minutes to soften tannins and let deeper aromas emerge — or decant if serving with richer dishes.
